Rebetiko Orchestra Berlin is a cultural ensemble dedicated to reviving the soulful, historic sounds of early 20th-century Greece.
Established in 2024 in Berlin by Jannis Stergiou and Kanarini music school, the Ensemble functions as both a performing band and an open community workshop, aiming to keep the spirit of "Rebetiko"—the soulful urban blues of Greece—alive while bridging the local Greek diaspora and Berlin’s diverse acoustic music community..
