After right-wing extremist acts of violence, it is often said that the perpetrator has become "radicalized": via content from the internet, through new friendships or due to a personal crisis. However, such radicalization processes do not start from scratch, and warning signals are not noticed in the respective environment.

Journalist Andreas Speit, an expert on the far-right scene, will show what to look out for in educational work: what linguistic expressions and codes, identifying signs and behaviors, and he will give suggestions on how to react to such developments. Andreas Speit has been reporting on the far-right scene in Germany for over 30 years for the "taz" and "Zeit" newspapers and gives training courses. In 2025, he published "Autoritäre Rebellion. How anti-modern reflexes are gripping broad sections of society and moving them ever further to the right".
