Metalheadz: Action speaks louder than words.

Metalheadz, founded in 1994 by Goldie and Kemistry & Storm, is one of the most iconic labels in the history of drum'n'bass. Originating from the British underground rave scene of the early 90s, the label played a crucial role in the development of our favorite genre. The unique Metalheadz sound is always groundbreaking around the globe, always a little different, but above all deep, experimental and absolutely club-ready. Hardly any other label conveys a comparable futurism and unbroken belief in progress. With Goldie, Doc Scott and Submotive, three real capacities from the Metalheadz cosmos are coming along to guarantee a thorough demolition together with our Recycle residents.

Goldie was not only a co-founder of Metalheadz, but also set standards in drum'n'bass. His first releases as Rufige Kru appeared in 1992, including tracks such as "Killa Muffin" and "Krisp Biscuit" as well as the EP "Dark Rider". In the same year, he made his final breakthrough in the jungle scene with "Terminator". The track was revolutionary as it was one of the first to consistently incorporate time-stretching techniques, pointing the way to a darker, more restless sound and leaving a lasting mark on the genre. His debut album "Timeless" (1995) is one of the releases that made Goldie and drum'n'bass famous worldwide.

Doc Scott was there right from the start and was a regular guest on the decks at one of the most legendary club nights of all time and of all genres - Metalheadz at the Blue Note. Together with Goldie, he also made Metalheadz the most influential label in the mid-nineties and still the most popular outside the scene today. Doc then founded his own label, 31 Recordings, which continues to comment on the current state of music and provide new impulses. Legendary tracks such as "Shadow Boxing", "Tokyo Dawn" or his beautiful remix of Adam F's "Metropolis" prove that he is one of the tightest and most distinctive producers and remixers.

Submotive is a DJ, producer and sound engineer. He was previously one half of the now defunct duo Ulterior Motive and co-founder of the Guidance label. Together with Goldie, he launched the Subjective project as engineer and production partner. Submotive stands for futuristic, sophisticated beats and releases full of funk and soul.

N'Dee, Mr.Jay and MC Jamie White are at the start for the Recycle Crew.

The Organoid Crew will be at the start in Box2: Deby Cage, filmmaker, director and DJ is our resident when it comes to bass, beats and everything that goes with it. Because bass music - from drum'n'bass and dubstep to trap and hip-hop to halftime - is her home base. Yunis, who has been signed to Ivy Lab's 20/20 label for some time now, is difficult to categorize. From amazing trap beats to powerful juke and grime tracks with half-step rhythms that can be both hard and groove-oriented, he explores a wide range of genres.
