Hospitality is back in his Berlin living room!
He will be joined by label boss London Elektricity, who, as always, will be bringing a danceable set: soulful, funky, jazzy and uplifting. Tony Colman - the brains behind the label - put all his energy into Hospital Records in 1996 with his partner Chris Goss, a label that should be familiar to every music lover. He is responsible for some of the biggest Hospital anthems such as "Billion Dollar Gravy", "Different Drum" and "Just One Second", and continues to drive the genre forward in his many roles as label boss, DJ and producer.
We are particularly looking forward to SOLAH. Ever since her voice was heard on the hit single "Oblivion" (2015) by Tantrum Desire, there has been no stopping the artist from Brighton. With her powerful, jazz-influenced soulful voice and excellent songwriting skills, she gives her performances a very special intensity. She has released on labels such as Critical, 1985 Music and Shogun and has worked with artists such as DJ Marky, Enei, Unglued, Spectrasoul, Halogenix and Pola & Bryson. Everything she does has anthem potential.
Producer, DJ, multi-instrumentalist and composer Winslow from St. Louis, Missouri, has been causing a stir in the scene for some time now with his meticulous attention to detail, penchant for avant-garde melodies and distinctive rhythmic identity, turning all of our heads in the process. In his productions, he works out the identity of the genre and allows a wide variety of influences. This can be heard clearly on his latest EP "The Unswung Hero". These are three tracks that have it all, as soulful as they are dark and with first-class basslines, the sound design is truly cutting edge.
The experimental producer Bop from St. Petersburg is difficult to grasp in his versatility. His productions combine influences ranging from deep house, 2 step, dub techno and IDM to minimalist dubstep and ambient drum'n'bass. Inspired by artists such as Photek and Paradox, he quickly developed his own sound. He founded his own label, Microfunk Music, and is half of the Microfunk Crew and half of Abstract Elements, with whom he pushes post-minimalist drum'n'bass productions that perfectly reflect the creativity and versatility of his sound spectrum. His sets combine the courage to experiment with radical danceability.
As a member of the Hospital Records collective, Ruthless MC travels the world. Whether in the arena or the underground club, influenced by reggae, soul and hip-hop, he always manages to find the balance between MC and DJ and read the crowd with his distinctive voice.
Our Recycle Crew is represented by Survey, N'Dee and MC Jamie White.
Be sure to check out Box2 as well. The Impulse Basskultur Kollektiv has once again put together its usual outstanding line-up.
