In the organizer's words:
HONEY I'M HOME 2:30 - 3:00 PM Presented by: Dutch Music Export Even before they release a single song, Sofie Ooteman (vocals, guitar), Thom Schotanus (vocals, guitar), Jasper Meurs (drums), Hugo de Groot (guitar) and Evelien Keesmaat (bass) have already managed to secure a signing with the well-known concert promoter FKP Scorpio. One listen and you'll immediately understand why: with their hopeful sound of shimmering indie guitars, dream pop and shoegazy elements, the band possesses a number of qualities that are not often found in the accelerated streaming age. Songs like this year's first single "Wishful Thinking" demonstrate a special knack for grandiose harmonies that allow the band to sound simultaneously wistful yet positive. At joint shows with Hotline TNT, Goat Girl and The Buoys, they were also able to further develop their musical interplay and stage presence. The best conditions for their premiere here in Hamburg. LUMI 3:30 - 4:00 PM Presented by: Dutch Music Export Even though not much is known about Lumï yet, the Dutch duo has already attracted a lot of attention on social media and relevant streaming platforms. With just voice and guitar, the two young singer-songwriters create an incredibly intimate atmosphere with delicate two-part vocals and carefully crafted melodies that go straight to the ear and from there to the soul. Lumï is currently opening concerts across Europe for artists such as Abby Sage and MARO. With the latter, they also recorded the wonderful trio version of "We've Been Loving In Silence" at the end of last year, reaching hundreds of thousands of fans who are eagerly awaiting a first release. And that's exactly what's about to happen, as the duo's debut EP is in the final stages of preparation for a release later this year. The perfect time to celebrate their first German concert with us. COLLIGNON 4:30 - 5:00 PM Presented by: Dutch Music Export Vibes of free-spirited jam sessions purr through the air, a splash of Mediterranean jazz and the pulse of sweat-inducing afro beats runs through your upper room while you're on the saddle, rushing along the promenade - the sound of COLLIGNON is always summer, and that's a good thing. The Portuguese instrumental trio led by founder Jori Collignon blends psychedelic guitars with shimmering Farfisa grooves and breakneck percussion to create a mix of styles full of dynamism and energy. The sound of the project was already largely formulated on the debut "Lagoinha" (2022), largely provided by the brilliant drums of Gino Bombrini (Skip & Die) and the extensive string repertoire of Southeast Asia expert and guitarist Yves Lennertz (Yin Yin). With this year's successor "Bicicleta" (2025), however, the trio succeeds in making the ultimate declaration of love to the best means of transportation in the world: the bicycle. Where cycling becomes a journey into dreamy landscapes, where independence and freedom are two sides of the same handlebar, where the world opens up on a small and large scale, COLLIGNON provide the soundtrack for trips of all kinds. Live, a pulsating spectacle that cannot be described and can only be experienced.
