reFLEX Open-Air SommerFestival „Oase” - Flex Ensemble

In the organizer's words:

A small oasis in the city: four concerts in one place where you can escape reality, come together and enjoy different styles of music in the open air. We welcome visitors of all ages and dispense with strict and rigid concert rules:
A picnic concert, a twilight concert with special guest Marina Baranova, a coffee and cake concert with young musicians from the music academy, a family concert about modern fairy tales and cozy DJ sets invite people of all ages to enjoy, relax and/or dance.

Please bring a seat and picnic bag!

11 am Family concert "Once upon a time... and what happens next?"
Once upon a time: Four elements. An enchanted castle. A garbage dump, an evil wizard, a talking marsupial. Little Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Sleeping Beauty, a beach, a toilet and a dust allergy. And what happens next?
Listen to the sounds of the garbage cave and dance the battle stomp dance so that our fairy tale ends with the words: "And if they haven't died, then they're still alive today!"

In collaboration with the 5th grade of the Tellkampfschule Hannover, a fairy tale of a somewhat different kind has been created...

Recommended for families with children aged 6 and over

1 pm Coffee and cake concert "Next Generation"
The Flex Ensemble offers young musicians a stage and invites young talents, including those from the IFF of the Hanover University of Music, to play chamber music together. The program includes works for various instrumentations by Gustav Mahler, Joseph Haydn, Lera Auerbach and Camille Saint-Saëns.

Cake club:
Everyone is invited to bring their favorite homemade cake and share it with each other.
