Regattageschnatter – Wassersport ist inklusiv! Schwerpunkt: Leistungssport

In the organizer's words:

What does it mean to be inclusive in sport?
What challenges and changes are associated with this?
And what consequences does this have for the culture of history and remembrance at the Wassersportmuseum Grünau?

We are addressing these questions in two events. With the "Regattageschnatter" series of talks, we would like to get into conversation with you - with the aim of being able to tell the history of sport in an inclusive way.

Both events will be translated into German sign language and spoken language.

• Athena Grandis........... Former water polo player for Wasserfreunde Spandau 04 and the Swiss national team
• Felicia Laberer............ Canoeist, bronze medal winner at the Paralympic Games in Paris
• Lutz Bühnert............... Initiator and co-founder of the Competence Center "Rowing for People with Disabilities" in the German Rowing Association

The focus is on the experiences of competitive athletes: What challenges have there been or are there? Where and how does inclusion succeed? And how can these experiences be translated into the work of a museum?
