Walk and Talk, exhibition talk with Eric Meier, Erik Niedling, Prof. Dr. Melanie Jaeger-Erben, Sven Gatter and Ulrike Kremeier

In conversation with Ulrike Kremeier, Director of the Brandenburg State Museum of Modern Art, and Prof. Dr. Melanie Jaeger-Erben, transformation researcher at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg, Eric Meier, Erik Niedling and Sven Gatter provide exciting insights into the process of creating the exhibition and their artistic working methods.

About the exhibition

For over 30 years, East Germany has been regarded as a testing ground for overcoming the challenges of structural change, but also as a testing ground for political radicalization strategies. In the exhibition "Discourse Zone East - Repair and Revolution", we are showing the photographic, video-based and sculptural works of the artists Eric Meier, Erik Niedling and Sven Gatter, which reflect these developments and open up spaces for thought beyond the usual patterns of explanation, for the first time together at the AFF Gallery in Berlin from May 2 to June 30, 2024.

The exhibition "Discourse Zone East - Repair and Revolution" runs from May 3 to June 30, 2024.
