The delian::quartett has been known beyond the German-speaking borders for years not only for its sparkling clean intonation, subtle tone and creative intensity, but also for its literary-musical programs. It has already appeared at the Musikfest with Bruno Ganz, Matthias Brandt and Ulrich Noethen. For the new program "Rilke. Fühlen, wie die Vögel fliegen", the quartet meets Jenz Harzer, who has been the recipient of the Iffland Ring, the highest award for theater actors in the German-speaking world, since 2019. "The Notes of Malte Laurids Brigge", Rainer Maria Rilke's only novel, deals with the uprooting of the subject and his search for identity in a modern age that has gone off the rails. Musically combined with Shostakovich's dark and torn String Quartet No. 7 in F sharp minor, Barber's famous Adagio for Strings and Beethoven's String Quartet No. 11 in F minor, this is an extraordinary project for the Rilke Year 2026.
