Rinah Lang präsentiert: "Peri Meno"

Berlin-based illustrator and comic artist Rinah Lang presents her comic debut "Peri Meno": An exciting look at the menopause that tells a personal story in an authentic and approachable way, making the complex topic tangible.

About the book:
The menopause often begins earlier than expected and can turn life upside down. In the madness of everyday life, the hormonal change can be the straw that breaks the camel's back. Rinah Lang gives a clever, entertaining and informative account of this phase of life with all its challenges. She passionately searches for correlations, visits experts and engages in lively discussions with friends. The result is a new clarity that makes you want to face your own questions.

Rinah Lang studied illustration in the Netherlands and Scotland and lived in Paris for a while before moving to Berlin, where she now lives. She works as an illustrator for magazines and newspapers and has also been working on books for several years. She shares her studio with many creative colleagues, with whom she enjoys exchanging ideas. She prefers to work with ink, colored pencil, scissors and paper - even though she keeps realizing that digital work is sometimes really more practical.

The evening will be hosted by journalist and comic expert Gesa Ufer (Deutschlandfunk Kultur).
