After a lifetime of hard work, Robert Finley has established himself as one of the leading blues preachers of our time. Born and raised in the small town of Bernice, Louisiana, Finley spent decades making music as a busker and leader of the gospel group Brother Finley and the Gospel Sisters before making his long overdue recording debut in 2016 at the age of 62 with "Age Don't Mean A Thing".

The album caught the attention of Dan Auerbach, founder of Easy Eye Sound, and launched a long collaboration that spawned 'Goin' Platinum' (2017), 'Sharecropper's Son' (2021) and the critically acclaimed 'Black Bayou' (2023). The latter album - an eleven-track tour de force that fuses Southern soul, jazz, folk, blues, rock 'n' roll and more into a raw, thunderous tribute to Finley's home state of Louisiana - has been raved about worldwide by leading publications including SPIN, The FADER, No Depression, American Songwriter, Paste, Uncut and many others. An electrifying performer known for his soulful swagger and raw, powerful vocals, Finley has since proven to be a hugely popular international live act - with sold-out headline tours, countless festival appearances, shows alongside The Black Keys and a leading role in Auerbach's Easy Eye Sound Revue. Finley has also appeared multiple times on major US television, including the 2019 season of NBC's "America's Got Talent" - where he eventually made it to the semi-finals - as well as CBS Saturday Morning. Having overcome great adversity - including losing his sight in his sixties - Robert Finley is now rightly recognized around the world as a unique storyteller and one of the last great bluesmen of the modern era, a true living legend with more magic to come.
