The American jazz pianist, composer and producer Robert Glasper is an absolutely exceptional artist whose political commitment has made him heard far beyond the borders of the music world. The Grammy winner returns to Germany for two exclusive shows in November.

The music sensation's Grammy record leaves no questions unanswered: Eleven categories, twelve nominations and five awards. There is also an Emmy to add to his ever-growing list of prizes and awards. But that's not all, because Robert Glasper's artistic work touches all areas of the music world. Live shows, film compositions and productions with and for other artists. Seemingly no matter what the native Texan is crowned with success. His Black Radio albums have pushed the boundaries of R&B and redefined it. His collaborations with the likes of George Clinton, Stevie Wonder, Erykah Badu, Kaytranada, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Hiatus Kaiyote, Mac Miller and Flying Lotus have regularly caused a sensation in the music press. In addition to his award-winning music productions, rousing live shows and his much-acclaimed film music, as a giant of the jazz scene and Afro culture he uses his voice loudly to campaign for equal rights and equal opportunities for Afro minorities.
