Robin Hood

a play for young people by Elisabeth Pape
for everyone aged 13 and over

Sherwood Forest in the 14th century: According to legend, Robin Hood lives here free and lawless in the middle of the deep forest. Every arrow hits its target when Robin Hood shoots it, every trick succeeds when Robin Hood plans it. Robin gathers a gang around him and together they fight for justice. They take the money from the rich nobility and distribute it among the poor and exploited peasants. They are fast, clever and no adventure is safe from them.

Today, 1% of humanity owns more money than the remaining 99% combined. There are currently almost 2,800 billionaires worldwide whose wealth grew three times faster in 2024 than in previous years. The gap between rich and poor is widening. A classic case for Robin Hood and the gang!

Max Radestock initially studied acting and was engaged at various theaters. From 2019 to 2023, he studied directing at the HfS für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch in Berlin. Since 2022, he has worked as a director at the neues theater in Halle, the Staatstheater
Augsburg and at the Jugendtheater Strahl in Berlin.

Elisabeth Pape studied theater and literature at the Free University of Berlin and then scenic writing at the Berlin University of the Arts. Her play Extra Zero was awarded the Kleist Prize 2023 and she also received the Leonhard Frank Scholarship 2023. Her plays have premiered at the Staatstheater Augsburg, Theater Koblenz and Mainfranken Theater Würzburg, among others.
