In the organizer's words:

It all started as a quirky jazz, improv, punk and NDW quartet at the beginning of 2008.
The band members had previously played in groups such as Der Rote Bereich, SoKo Steidle, Hyperactive Kid, Klima Kalima, Jimi Tenor and Lotus Eaters.

Each member contributed their own compositions and individual musical voice. However, after a few tours and recordings, the band fell apart and would not play together again until 2021.
During the lockdowns - when everything was at a standstill - they decided to record what had already been recorded but never released (the first recording was a radio production and the rights were with the station - buying them back would have been very, very, very expensive).
So this new recording shows the music 13 years later.
In the meantime, each of the musicians has gained experience in different musical contexts, which now flows directly into the interpretation of this music.
For us, the result feels much more mature, fresher and with more joy in playing - and we are very happy to finally be able to present our music.
