Homage to Harry Belafonte
One year after the death of Harry Belafonte, Ron Williams and the Jörg Seidel Trio dedicate a very personal evening to the singer, actor and civil rights activist. In the course of the concert, the connection between Belafonte's music and his social commitment becomes clear. His hits such as "Banana Boat Song", "Day-O!" and "Island in the Sun" are full of power, rhythm and beauty and radiate harmony and hope.

In the late 1950s, musician Ron Williams saw the movie Carmen Jones and was impressed by Harry Belafonte. Through his father, Belafonte's singing coach, he heard many stories about the fascinating world star and even met him twice in person. The two musicians with Caribbean roots immediately felt a connection. One year after Belafonte's death, Ron Williams and the Jörg Seidel Trio are dedicating a personal concert evening in the Silbersaal to his idol for the first time.
