Ronny Valdorf - Songs

In the organizer's words:

As the theologian of the BBW Leipzig group, to which Philippus also belongs, it was a great pleasure for me to organize a song evening in the sanctuary with some dear friends in the autumn of 2025. The very different people brought very different music with them. I performed a few of my own pieces, there were songs by The Flaming Lips, Andrew Bird, Lera Lynn, Bobby Helms, Gerhard Schöne and others, and some really great bluegrass traditionals.

The musicians and guests enjoyed the evening so much that we have considered making it a small series of 3 evenings spread over the year in 2026.

The concept remains the same: A modern song evening where different people play songs that are important to them or that they simply find beautiful. The whole thing with a certain focus on acoustic music.

Admission is free. Anyone who would like to put something in our donation box is welcome to do so. I am very much looking forward to these evenings.
