Finnish grindcore legends ROTTEN SOUND remain one of the genre's most brutal and uncompromising figureheads after more than three decades. Their album "Apocalypse" is a furious slap in the face. The songwriting and recording sessions spread over a year did not prevent ROTTEN SOUND from delivering a spontaneous, direct and uncompromising grindcore manifesto. In keeping with the spirit of the genre, "Apocalypse" is a political statement and a determined call for resistance.

In the title track, Keijo roars: "Darkness surrounds us / there is no future / Everyone will die / Apocalypse will come" - an unmistakable indication that it's time to take a stand. Conclusion - With "Apocalypse", ROTTEN SOUND deliver an uncompromising grindcore statement full of energy, political rage and musical precision.
