With "Jung kaputt spart Altersheime", Bärchen and the Milchbubis delivered THE punk slogan of the time at the beginning of the 80s: "No Future!" was the motto. But the band also had plenty of pop appeal beyond punk and operated at the interface with Neue Deutsche Welle. "I don't want to get any older", was the slogan on their debut album "Dann macht es Bumm" (1981). They have grown older, but not milder, because there is still reason to be angry and celebrate. Over 40 years later, their second album "Die Rückkehr des Bumm!" (The return of the boom!) follows.

G.Rag/Zelig Implosion Deluxxe / GutFeeling

This is somehow that happy NoWave sound of the early 80s. Absolutely danceable. Or is everything different again?
Musically it goes in the direction of Kraut, with and without noise, ambient, can also be dark, can also be post-punk.
But then it's mostly soooo "hey happy". Well, and of course there's self-irony in there too, whatever. "Komm" Schwimmen is the name of their latest album.

Or to put it in a nutshell: PUNKt: NDF (Neue Deutsche Fröhlichkeit)
