Erotic Secrets of Pompeii play a wild, strange apocalyptic lounge music - a twisted mix of edgy art-rock and boundary-pushing post-punk.
Their music and lyrics are populated by grotesque imagery and vivid symbolism, inspired by iconic artists from various media, such as Lynch, Dalí, Bacon, Blake, Cronenberg, Jodorowsky and Mapplethorpe.
The band released their debut EP 'Trash Jugular' in late 2022, followed by a UK headlining tour in early 2023, appearances at major festivals such as Boomtown and Bearded Theory, and a support slot on Electric Six's UK tour.
Their debut album Mondo Maleficum was released in January 2024, and has received support from BBC Radio 6, Radio X and BBC Introducing.#
