PARTING GYFTS
A mixture of glitter and tears - that's Parting Gyfts. Kissed by melancholy, Parting Gyfts paint a musical landscape with driving dynamics and introspective lyrics in a post-punk style. Catchy, indie rock-influenced melodies complete the sound.

Founded in Hanover in 2022, Parting Gyfts conquered the first live stages just one year later with their captivating stage presence. The band won second place at the SIXPACK band contest in Hanover in 2023 at their second appearance and have since played at festivals such as Bruits de la Cave and Skate & Destroy. In their shows, Parting Gyfts combine raw energy with a unique aesthetic - in Bowie style, they deliberately break down gender roles and clichés, which they also express visually in their stage outfits.

In 2025, Parting Gyfts celebrated the release of their long-awaited first EP "Past // Reflection".

Late Sonic Youth noise pop meets the dreamy soundscapes of British alternative acts of the early 90s.
