As part of the Rückspiegel / Rearview Mirror exhibition, we have planned a special day of coming together for Saturday, December 6 - with a neighborhood get-together and music from the neighborhood by DJs CHANTI (@chantalisea) and stinia3000 (@stinia3000).

Rückspiegel / Rearview Mirror
Stories and developments from Neustadt-Neuschönefeld and the neighboring districts - from the late 1980s to the present day.

The exhibition invites you to tell and listen: People from the east of Leipzig share their memories, show personal objects, photos and documents. This creates a vivid picture of the time of upheaval in which Neustadt-Neuschönefeld has experienced many changes from the Peaceful Revolution to the present day - from migration and social change to cultural diversity and neighborhood life.

What stories remain, what has changed, what do we want to remember?

  1 - approx. 3:30 p.m.: District tour through 350 years of district history with volunteer city guide Uwe Krüger. Meeting point: in front of the Aldi, Konradstr. 27.
