Rulaman present their new album "Death Whistle". The album by the local stoner and doom heroes is dark and gloomy. Heavy riffs, easy on the ear, brute bass with gripping drums followed by prancing percussion that will win over even the last doubters. All this wrapped in a cloak of rousing doom, occult-sounding lyrics, crashing epics and plenty of ingenuity. But there's not just a lot to listen to. Anyone who dares to take a closer look at the cover will immediately recognize where the album is heading. The message is clear: the doomy all-round assault begins here. And it sounds more like Rulaman than ever!

In 2024, the Tucanos 5000 released their fourth album 'Electric Manyland'. On it, the Tübingen-based psych-rock band once again demonstrates their ability for creative songwriting and unconventional arrangements full of power and spherical flight.

Rulaman stands for floating, psychedelic soundscapes, woven from an earthy and analog sound. Fiery guitar riffs, thundering bass and pounding drums create the unique sound of these young musicians. In 2023, Rulaman's long-awaited first LP was released on vinyl and CD by Tonzonen Records. This marked a new milestone in the band's discography. Unsurprisingly, most copies were sold out within a short space of time Two years of creating, writing poetry, lyrics and dreaming later, Rulaman's second album is ready to be released. With 'Death Whistle', Rulaman once again present themselves as darker, doomier but no less melodic and captivating.

To describe the music of Tucanos 5000, it helps to take a look at the twelve-year history of the Tübingen-based band. When they formed in 2012, the musicians ventured into a wide range of genres with elements of classic rock, retro psych, blues, krautrock and rock n' roll. On the second album `No need for a reason', which was released in 2018, a very unique Tucanos sound of psychedelic, sprawling, sometimes epic arrangements was formed. After a few changes in the band, an energetic head line-up of guitar, bass and drums remained from the initial six musicians. In 2020, the album `In Space' was released, full of conceptual ideas. Even with the reduced line-up, the band formed a creative and broad sound mesh of the finest psych rock paired with spacy synthesizer and rhythmic percussion. The band's sound matured, condensed and grew into another album thanks to many years of collaboration and musical familiarity.
