Run for Rescue – Spendenlauf

Dear Friends of the Movement,
On September 26, 2026, it’s that time again. The Run for Rescue is entering its fifth year as part of the Intercultural Days in Dresden! And you’re all cordially invited. You don’t need to register for the event—just stop by our booth in Alaunpark between 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Here’s how it works:

PREPARATION
Find sponsors who will give you money per lap or as a lump sum. Get your bosses, parents, grandparents, and friends excited about your cause. (Of course, you’re also welcome to sponsor your own athletic performance! ;-)

HOW, WHAT, WHO?
You’ll run, roll, ride, dance, or walk with us to music, sports, and fun. How you complete your laps is entirely up to you or your sponsors. The route is accessible, so it’s easy to navigate even with a wheelchair, walkers, inline skates, or skateboards. Of course, there will be a small supporting program again featuring DJs, creative activities, snacks, and information from Mission Life Line and Seebrücke Dresden!

DONATIONS
You can donate in cash or to a donation account. All proceeds benefit civilian sea rescue efforts. They go to Mission LIFELINE. With your donations, you’re supporting all those who help people fleeing their homes: in the Mediterranean, at Europe’s external borders, in Ukraine, and on the way out of Afghanistan.
