Jazzik #5 – „An American in Paris“
In the organizer's words:
Where does jazz begin and classical music end? The second edition of the RSB's "Jazzik" series once again features outstanding soloists and ensembles as well as exciting conductors. Multitasking plays a major role in music (jazz and classical). In "Jazzik", we encounter artists in several roles - as musicians, conductors, composers, arrangers and bandleaders. The music of American composer George Gershwin is the central theme of the series - with classics such as "Rhapsody in Blue", "An American in Paris" and American Songbook Standards.
