From Heinrich Heine to Dörte Hansen: A Tour of Literary Ottensen.

The tour traces the literary history of Ottensen from the Baroque era to the present day. In addition to famous poets such as Klopstock and Heinrich Heine, we’ll also trace the footsteps of forgotten figures—such as Hans Friedrich Blunck, the first president of the Reich Chamber of Literature. In this way, we aim to get to know the neighborhood as a literary place and ask: What image of Ottensen is conveyed to us through literature?
