Rundgang & Zeichenworkshop: „Altonaer SkizzenZeit“

A Drawing Journey Through the Neighborhood’s History

As we sketch, we take a very close look at the neighborhood. Our eyes search for traces of times past, down to the smallest detail, while our hands draw shapes on paper—and what happens in our minds in between is up to each of us individually!

The “SkizzenZeit” program combines a historical walk with an art workshop. After a sketching warm-up at the neighborhood archive, we head out into the fresh air. We pause at various stops in Ottensen to learn about the history and stories of these places and to capture our impressions.

What details and ornaments do we find on the building facades? Where is nature reclaiming urban space? Which construction site in the area is creating the largest void?

Everyone is welcome, regardless of prior artistic experience—interest and a willingness to experiment are more important for the workshop.

• Meeting point: Ottensen District Archive, Zeißstraße 28 (backyard, Feldtmann Wire Pin Factory)
• Cost: €10 regular, €5 reduced; by donation for everyone under 19 and association members. Please bring exact change.
