Works by Poulenc, Berlioz, chansons by Kurt Weill, Zarah Leander, Amy Woodford- Finden, tango songs.
In the heyday of the tango, which came to Paris from Argentina, Poulenc and Satie met in the Parisian salons, and Kurt Weill wrote his famous chansons for diseuses such as "Youkali" and "Au fond de la Seine".
This evening aims to bring the smooth transition between the different movements to life.
