How was the Lion City founded? Who defended Brunswick's independence? And where exactly did Henry meet his lion again? Elke Frobese and Peter Matuschak address these and other questions in their new book "Sagen & Geschichten aus Braunschweig" (Legends & Stories from Brunswick) - building on their knowledge from many years as tour guides and Elke Frobese's work as a historian.
On Wednesday, February 25, 2026, they will present their book at the Braunschweig Castle Museum and provide insights into the legends and stories of the Lion City.
