Sahara Grim hasan eclectic background spanning bossa nova, jazz, rock, and Indian classical music. Her music blends these diverse influences into a unique sound that transcends genre boundaries. Active in the underground LA music scene, Sahara teamed up with producer and artist Luke Temple to create her debut album, *Fable*, released in February 2025. Sahara’s ethnic roots in India and Japan are seamlessly woven into her musical journey, from studying sitar at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music—where she earned a degree in World Music & Jazz—to performing at venues across Japan. Sahara has shared the stage with The Marías, Charlotte Day Wilson, and Léa Sen, among others.
The Berlin-based duoLail & Lomarcreate songs at the intersection of indie, jazz, and Brazilian music. By blending thoughtfully crafted arrangements with raw, personal storytelling, they achieve an unmistakable and innovative sound.
Lail & Lomar have already made a strong impression on the live music scene, opening for the indie rock band International Music and performing at renowned venues such as Kantine am Berghain, Bi Nuu Berlin, Artheater Cologne, and Waschhaus Potsdam.
In 2025, they performed at festivals including Feel Festival, Sensus, and Down by the River, and will open shows on the European tour of the Belarusian band Soyuz in February 2026.
Their debut EP, *MY HEAD COULD EXPLODE*, introduced their distinctive blend of alternative, jazz-infused songwriting and experimental textures, and received media attention from *taz* and Radio Eins.
In addition to their work as a band, Lail & Lomar composed theater music for the Nationaltheater Mannheim in 2023, which was met with positive critical reviews. Their upcoming single “Spit It Out” will be released on February 13, followed by the official music video on February 14, while the duo is currently working on their debut album.
