Saïdo Lehlouh: Témoin

20 urban dancers pool their collective energy in an explosive dance piece by renowned urban choreographer Saïdo Lehlouh. Témoin is part of a work process that Saïdo Lehlouh has been developing for several years. Twenty dancers dedicate themselves to a game of balance between energy, personality and decision-making in order to create a collective dance that emerges in the liveliness of the moment. What holds the group together is a strong common motto: bringing together dancers with different styles, most of whom learned their dances far from academic training contexts, in a specific place and at a specific time to make the vibration and energy of their encounter the center of a choreography.

In Témoin, Saïdo Lehlouh, who originally comes from b-boying, expands the field to include numerous influences that go beyond hip-hop and shape the careers of the dancers gathered here. Through the uniqueness of the dancers and their way of improvising, the piece emerges in a dynamic of intense listening and encounter. Saïdo Lehlouh, breaker of the Bad Trip Crew, is known for his feline style that combines fluidity and finesse with authenticity. Saïdo Lehlouh is a regular guest at tanzhaus nrw. His most recent performance at tanzhaus nrw was The Dancing, a participatory assembly of dancers in Düsseldorf's urban space. Témoin is a community of breakers who bring the beauty of instinctive and spontaneous hip-hop dance to life.

Témoin will be shown twice in a row in a short version of 20 minutes during the Night of Museums on April 27. In addition to the performances, there will be the opportunity to take part in several open studios in the foyer during the Night of the Museums.

On Sunday at 18:00, Témoin will be presented in its full version with a duration of 55 minutes.
