The radio play presentation gala.
Olaf Schubert has been coming to Dresden's Saloppe for over 25 years in a row to present his radio plays. Schubert leaves nothing to chance on an evening like this. He secretly steals the necessary props in advance - from his relatives, he shoots down annoying chirping birds himself with an air rifle and Schubert buys the firecrackers needed for the pyroshow personally - from the chemist. With his own money! That's how he is known. So that his audio work doesn't just blare out of the loudspeakers, Schubert holds puppets in the air. That's pretty exhausting! But Schubert does it - for his audience. It goes without saying that with this immense logistical effort, savings have to be made somewhere. Olaf saves where it is least noticeable - on the program. It's always the same - quite simply - because it's tried and tested.
So don't expect anything, but if you don't have any other plans, just come along casually.
It will be as always... intoxicatingly grandiose.
