Put up resistance? Would often be good. For many, it is a necessity. But not everyone has to. Sure, whenever we are confronted with a new catastrophe via social media, waves of activism arise. But they die down again. As support with a limited half-life. A brief wake-up call - then we sink back onto the mattress. Better to put on the sleep mask. Look away. SAMT VOR UNSEREN AUGEN is the name of Ensemble ARTIG's new production. The players deal with a situation that not only affects them, but us as a society as a whole: being torn between activism and lethargy. Between commitment and comfort. Many of us encounter grievances in our everyday lives that could be changed. Easily, in fact. Situations in which it would not cost much to support others. Open your eyes or cover up? We have the choice.
