Santtu Tapani Weniger and the Sauna Makkara Orkesteri.

Mostly cheerful, sometimes melancholic, but always with Scandinavian dry humor and flair, author and clown Santtu Tapani Weniger tells and reads humorous and exciting stories from his four novels published to date, all of which revolve around the moderately wacky detective Marco Lehmann and his career in crime.

The matching live soundtrack is provided by his accompanying orchestra imported from Finland, the Sauna Makkara Orkesteri, consisting of cello (Jani Soininen), violin (Timi Tolvonen) and trombone (Liisa Jokela).

An unusual line-up, an unusual sound, Finnish music to German lyrics, just as unusual as ammonia vodka to bratwurst.

Sounds strange and yet fits together really well!
