In the organizer's words:
The Bohnenviertel, which for centuries was a poor neighborhood of winegrowers and artisans, still retains its very special charm today. Threatened by wartime destruction and demolition, it has now, following a loving renovation, retained its very own character, with wine bars and chic shops. A visit is also planned to “La Strada,” a café and a drop-in center for street girls, where volunteers provide information. Afterward, we’ll stop for a bite to eat at the rustic wine bar “Tauberquelle,” which serves Swabian cuisine. Please register with Bernd Möbs at 0711/2624117 or info@bernd-moebs.de—be sure to indicate whether you’d like to join us for the meal!
Starting point: “Zur Kiste” wine bar, corner of Kanalstraße and Esslinger Straße (Charlottenplatz) • End point: Leonhardstraße/Jakobstraße, Cost: Euro per participant, Registration at info@bernd-moebs.de or 0711/2624117
