On January 14, the Sax Royal reading stage celebrates its 21st birthday. It could now legally buy alcohol in the USA, but it prefers to stay in Dresden to once again amuse its fans at the Groove Station with funny stories, playful poems and rousing songs. As with every anniversary, the regular team of the Lesebühne, consisting of Michael Bittner, Roman Israel, Max Rademann and Gesine Schäfer, will not only present new texts, but also some of the best from previous years as well as a few special surprises. To celebrate its birthday, the reading stage has also invited an old comrade-in-arms: Stefan Seyfarth.
Stefan Seyfarth was born in Zeulenroda in 1977. He is a forestry scientist, educator and poet. He hosted the LivelyriX Poetry Slam in Dresden for almost fifteen years. From its foundation until 2023, he was a regular at the Sax Royal reading stage. After many years in Dresden, he now lives near Hamburg. His latest volume of poetry "Dreck auf Schnee" was published in 2019.
