Schafschurfest 2026 auf dem Naturhof Kevelaer

Visitors can look forward to a special day of sheep, wool and traditional craftsmanship - in the middle of a real sheep farm on the Lower Rhine.

Sheep shearing can be experienced live, and working Border Collies will also demonstrate their skills in herding the sheep. Visitors have the opportunity to get to know different breeds of sheep and learn more about the work of a modern sheep farm.

The festival is complemented by wool craftsmen, demonstrations of wool processing and selected exhibitors of wool, handicrafts and natural products.

There is also plenty for families to discover:
Craft and hands-on activities invite children to get to know sheep and wool in a playful way.

Fresh waffles, sausages and our popular pulled lamb burgers made on the farm provide a real farm festival feeling.

Registration is not required.
