Schattenformat

Schattenformat aka Elio is a musician, storyteller and one of the most independent new voices on the German indie scene. What began as a small project between music and serialized short formats is now a movement: his community, which has christened itself "Schattenkinder", finds in Elio's songs and stories not just a pastime, but real support and inspiration. It is a feeling of being understood: an encouragement to go your own way and pursue your dreams without compromise. It is precisely this resonance that drives Schattenformat.

"For me, art is not about bringing even more irrelevant distraction into an already overstimulated world, but about creating moments that really move people. I am aware that I am also part of a system that thrives on attention - which is precisely why I want to use this attention wisely and not waste my community's time," explains Elio, who devours literature from all kinds of philosophers in his spare time.

Now that Schattenformat can be seen supporting the JBS tour across Germany, the next step follows: his first solo concerts are scheduled for December 2026 - on 04.12.2026 in Cologne and 06.12.2026 in Berlin. Two evenings that will not be a classical concert, but a direct encounter between Elio, his music and the Schattenkindern.
