In hardly any other epoch was the density of great German artists higher than at the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries. We want to trace this high artistic potential in the second half of 2025 and, on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the Peasants' Wars, present this exciting time in the form of drawings and prints.

To this end, selected masterpieces will be scrutinized in the seminar room of the Kupferstichkabinett exclusively in a small group under the guidance of Britta Bode or Thomas R. Hoffmann.
