In the organizer's words:

Schlager is a German phenomenon. People react to it with everything from absolute enthusiasm to head-shaking rejection. The songs sing a lot about the longing for great happiness. Very often it's about love.

We take the pop song seriously. We shake it, shake it and "beat" a lot of sparks out of it.

It's about rising suns. It's about not being alone. It's about saying goodbye and arriving. It's about singing the praises of an unhealed world. Are there miracles? Again and again?
