In the organizer's words:
Hartmut Schmidt (Bergpark-Konzerte) has put together a kaleidoscope of favorite titles for the benefit evening in aid of the Kinderschutzbund. The musicians from several of his ensembles are putting themselves at the service of the good cause. Song classics by Bertolt Brecht and Georg Kreisler meet Balkan and swing and even a folk song has its place, true to the motto: "Thoughts are free".
