The Christmas holidays should actually be the most contemplative time of the year. But it turns out to be more difficult than expected to make this wish come true. Family man Clark Griswold naturally wants to offer his family something special and so the Griswolds go into the forest to cut down a Christmas tree. With some effort they succeed, but the oversized size of the tree causes considerable difficulties when it comes to putting it up in their home. Once the problems have been solved under chaotic circumstances, the absurd trial of strength continues with the gigantic lighting in the house.
