SCHOOL OF SURVIVAL: Botanical Journey mit Julia Nordholz

Julia Nordholz addresses the pressing ecological and social challenges of our time with her multi-layered works. As a transdisciplinary artist, curator and social designer, she creates immersive spatial installations, among other things. Her works are often interactive and invite the audience to become part of the art, blurring the boundaries between observer and observed. A scientific-artistic-experimental research phase is an integral part and starting point of her work process.

The SCHOOL OF SURVIVAL is a future laboratory within the exhibition SURVIVAL IN THE 21ST CENTURY and its most important mediation tool. In around 100 lectures, seminars and workshops, interactive events take place almost daily. Visitors have the opportunity to develop concrete approaches and cultural techniques - strategies to actively respond to the challenges of the future.

The so-called SURVIVAL PASS, which is issued free of charge on request when you first enter the exhibition, allows unlimited Free admission to the exhibition and participation in the SCHOOL OF SURVIVAL.

Prior registration is not required. As soon as the 35 places in the SCHOOL OF SURVIVAL are full, the course is considered full. Therefore, please arrive on time. For group visits with more than 8 people, please contact us in advance at besuch@deichtorhallen.de.

All SCHOOL OF SURVIVAL courses can be attended without prior knowledge. Equipment is provided on site, unless otherwise stated. You are welcome to bring personal material that is relevant to you in the workshop.
