The last German full-rigged ship: Feel a touch of seafaring romance on board!
Visit the ship, which was commissioned in 1927 and is 86 meters long. There are many interesting and maritime things to discover. Original furnishings and the special atmosphere will inspire you. Step onto the deck planks of the ship and let yourself be transported into the world of the old square-rigged sailing ships. The special atmosphere, masts, stays and ropes, the salons and the small museum reveal much about the maritime history of the ship.
We offer drinks and small snacks for your physical well-being. Of course, there will also be musical and atmospheric entertainment in the evening:
- from 7 p.m. the Loxstedt Shanty Choir will perform a great repertoire of maritime songs
- from 9:30 pm, the duo Maren Pundschus and Eva Schad will play entertaining music for saxophone and piano. Well-known songs and Latin music as well as highlights from the Beatles, ABBA, Queen and others will bring the evening to a lively close on board the "Schulschiff Deutschland".
