In the organizer's words:

Mikołaj Woźniak is a Polish pianist born in Zielona Góra in 2003. He is currently studying at the Basel Music Academy in the class of Professor Claudio Martinez-Mehner. He has won several first prizes at national and international piano competitions and is active as a soloist and chamber musician. In the last two years, he has had the opportunity to learn from György Kurtág, Kirill Gerstein, Robert Levin and Andreas Staier, which has further enriched his musical perspective.

Mikołaj adapts his interpretations to every performance space and context and devotes himself to both the solo and ensemble repertoire with equal dedication. He has performed in renowned concert halls throughout Europe and regularly collaborates with other musicians in chamber music formations, including in a duo with Michał Balas. Since 2014, he has been supported by the European Foundation of the Rahn Dittrich Group for Education and Culture based in Leipzig - more information here.
