How does Black and queer feminism shape our society—and which stories often remain invisible in the public sphere?
On this special guided tour through Berlin-Schöneberg, you’ll follow in the footsteps of Black and queer feminists whose struggles, visions, and acts of resistance have shaped history. Together, we’ll explore historic sites and examine the intersections of colonialism, racism, sexism, and anti-queer sentiment.
The focus is on inspiring figures such as Audre Lorde, May Ayim, and Ika Hügel-Marshall, whose work has had a lasting impact on the Black German movement and feminist debates. The tour combines historical context with current issues surrounding intersectionality, empowerment, and social change.
Whether you’re already familiar with feminist and queer perspectives or are looking for new ways to engage with them—this tour invites you to listen, ask questions, and reflect together.
