We’re clearing the stage for an evening where ordinary researchers turn into little rock stars! On September 24 (8:00 p.m.), the 3rd Science Slam Bielefeld will take place at the Wissenswerkstadt.
Anyone who attends a “Science Slam” is sure to go home smarter—and will have had a lot of fun in the process. The concept is based on the popular “poetry slams.” You don’t have to write poetry at a Science Slam—though that’s certainly an option. The goal is for the presentation on stage to be as entertaining and memorable as possible.
All participants have ten minutes to completely win over the audience.
The motto is: present 100 percent of your own research. Otherwise, anything goes during the performance time—as long as it doesn’t violate fire safety regulations.

Reduced-price ticket: The reduced price applies to high school students, college students, and BI-Pass holders: €15.00, including 7% VAT. Regular ticket: €20.00, including 7% VAT.
