Secret Slam

In the organizer's words:

Poetry Slam meets Escape Room, in Wedding.

One part poetry slam. One part scavenger hunt. One part bar hopping, or more: secret location hopping.

The Kiezpoeten Secret Slam is the most exclusive poetry slam you can get in this city: There are only 45 tickets available, exclusively in advance, which means you're up close and personal with the artists. The clue is: you don't know where yet - at least not exactly. We will only reveal the starting location: at the library at Luisenbad. Follow the clues from location to location and try to get there first with your friends in a team - because the first ones to do so will each win a coveted team prize!

There will be poetry slams, music and art at three secret locations, with puzzles in between. Like an escape room, only, well, outside in the city.

THREE GOOD REASONS WHY YOU WANT TO BE THERE

1. From place to place, you and your friends follow a series of clues and mini-puzzles. Escape game & scavenger hunt style.
2. A welcome drink is included! And there's always the opportunity for a drink or two at the various stations. You might get to know your new future favorite place. The bar-hopping principle.
3. You enjoy good texts, excitingly presented by their poets, and let your vote decide the final. Classic poetry slam style.

Because we have to plan the whole event exclusively, tickets are only available in advance.

FAQS

What can I bring to the event?

You can bring whatever you can wear on a scavenger hunt. At least one member of your team may need a fully charged cell phone. Make sure you are prepared for the weather!

Do I have to bring the printed ticket?

No, you can also bring it as a PDF on your cell phone.

Can I update my registration information?

Your e-mail is particularly important! Without a correct e-mail, you will not be able to receive information at short notice. If this is a gift for someone else, please send us an email with the name and email address of the participant at least one week before the event - for example via the contact form on kiezpoeten.com

Is my registration fee/ticket transferable?

See above. If you resell your ticket, make sure that we have received your buyer's email address for the info mail. Please note: reselling for more than the normal price is not permitted. If you are considering buying a resale ticket from someone, ask us beforehand whether tickets were actually purchased under the seller's name to avoid giving fake tickets a chance. Tickets not originally sold by us are of course not valid.

Is it a problem if the name on the registration/ticket does not match the name of the attendee?

See above. The person on the ticket must arrive with the team and should provide their group with all the necessary information beforehand. As the ticket purchaser, you should also have the contact details of all group members so that you can pass on all relevant information - after all, we only have your contact as the ticket purchaser.

What do I do with the free drinks if I don't drink alcohol?

How long will the event last?

It depends on how fast you are. We start at 16:00 (be there on time!), and expect it to take about 1.5-2 hours. Plus or minus half an hour, let's see how fast you are.
