Joachim Ringelnatz, an adventurer, sailor, poet, satirist, writer, poet, someone who loved the little things in life, who had a tremendous appetite for breakfast and for life.
Over the years, Stephan Krawczyk has set poems by Brecht, Kästner and Morgenstern to music. From Ringelnatz's extensive oeuvre, he has selected fifteen poems that speak to him from the soul.
"It's as if I were singing my own songs. In song, Joachim Ringelnatz has become my brother," he says.
