Serious Series 2023
In the organizer's words:
This year, the Serious Series will take place for the twelfth time. As in the last two editions, the program will be designed by Frank Gratkowski and Achim Kaufmann. They are interested in presenting music that makes the unheard become sound, bypasses conventions, connects seemingly incompatible things and crosses borders.
Free improvisation, current compositional concepts, references to the jazz tradition, interdisciplinary performance with dance and electro-acoustic soundscapes meet again this year in a multifaceted program.
