The band from Hamburg and Berlin once again combines intense energy with a distinct sense of atmosphere and intention. After their self-titled debut album from 2021 and the follow-up "Gruppenchat" from 2023, which cemented their reputation as one of Germany's most exciting underground bands, "GEGENWART" focuses entirely on the present. While the earlier albums were characterized by dark futurism and urban dissonance, "GEGENWART" explores the state of the here and now. Sharp, direct and imbued with a peculiar melancholy.
